DayBit is a family of simple iPhone apps: DayBit Steps, DayBit Push, and DayBit Celebrations. This policy explains what data each app uses. We do not create accounts, and we do not sell your personal data.
No accounts
DayBit apps do not require sign-in. There is no DayBit user account.
DayBit Steps
- Reads today’s step count from Apple Health (HealthKit) to show in the app, widgets, and Apple Watch complication.
- Step data stays on your device and in Apple Health. We do not upload your Health data to our servers.
DayBit Push
- Stores your daily push-up habit status and goal on your device (including shared app storage used by the widget and Watch).
- May schedule local reminders on your device if you turn them on.
- Does not require HealthKit. We do not upload this habit data to our servers.
DayBit Celebrations
- Reads birthdays and anniversaries from your Contacts to show in the app and widgets.
- May schedule local notifications on your device (for example the day before and day of an event).
- Stores on-device marks such as whether you have reached out and a simple streak.
- Contact details stay on your device. We do not upload your Contacts to our servers.
- Message, call, or email actions open Apple’s own apps; DayBit does not send those messages for you through our servers.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not run DayBit accounts or cloud profiles for these apps.
- We do not use your Health or Contacts data for advertising.
- We do not run third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in these apps today.
Third-party services
The apps rely on Apple frameworks on your device (such as HealthKit, Contacts, WidgetKit, and User Notifications). Apple’s handling of data is covered by Apple’s privacy policy and your device settings.
Children
DayBit is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the apps to submit personal information about children to us — we do not collect such information through accounts or servers.
Changes
We may update this page when the apps change. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.
